Battleship (Movie)
The United States Navy is currently engaged in RIMPAC, a multinational naval warfare exercises near Hawaii and are first to encounter the alien forces. The combined navies of both US and Japan are soon overwhelmed by the alien's technological superiority save one US navy destroyer, USS John Paul Jones.
With the loss of so many naval ships, they find themselves resurrecting the battleship USS Missouri, a museum anchored in naval harbor of Hawaii. With almost no knowledge on how to operate a 70-year old war vessel, they enlist the help of retired navy crew currently working the museum.
:: A movie of good fun and a plug for the old Hasbro game of the same name, definitely a movie rental or watch it in theaters at discounted prices.

"The 16th"
We (don't know the others in the 'we' group yet) arrived in Nevada in a place similar to a subway station but it appears to double as a hospital or something (this will be explained later). Upon arrival, we looked for the exit so we went up these stairs that led to the outside. Just as we got outside, we realized we had to go back downstairs and purchase train tickets to take us to the location where we're supposed to go.
We arrived at the house where we're staying but it was still a bit away from Las Vegas (which we'll be going later). I remember that I was taking a vacation away from my wife (nothing bad happened, sort of a guy's night away). Anyways, we arrived at Vegas and went into this Casino/Bar/Event Room. There was only one person I recognized in the group, Vern Roseman, but despite not knowing anyone else in the group, I felt that we were all friends. We played a couple of games and then sat down at the table. I saw this one game that piqued my interest, you played as a ninja and you have to slice this balls or spherical objects as they come out of the machine. I went over back to the table and tried to get Vern's attention about the ninja-game. At that moment, the band began to play a Maroon 5 song, "Moves Like Jagger" and I started to sing along with them. As I sat down, continuing to sing along, I noticed this nice, good-looking young woman sitting on the other side of the table I was at.As I continued to sing along, this young woman began to look towards me and leaned closer. I decided to take the moment to give her a kiss. I asked her what was her name but as she said it, I couldn't hear it because of the music playing. We continued to kiss and we kissed and kissed. During the kissing I kept thinking about this sweet young woman and at the same time about my wife back at home. Several minutes later after all the kissing, she suddenly pulled back and complained about a pain that she felt and mentioned about needing her 16th. I wasn't quite sure about what she meant but I had an inkling, so I asked her, "Your 16th kill?" She glanced over towards me, nodded and said, "Before sunrise." I could tell that by her exposing this information to me that she didn't want me to be her 16th kill, that she actually cared about me and decided to go after these two other guys that appeared to be, for a lack of better term, mob guys or muscles. She propositioned them and they both smiled and they all left together.Knowing what I knew about her and what she was about to do, I did nothing to stop her or them.I looked over back to my friends along the length of the table who were all enjoying several bottles of "Hank's Orange Cream Soda" but didn't offer me any (yeah, some friends they turned out to be). I scanned for some unopened bottles and found a blue-satin jacket with an embroidered name (I couldn't quite exactly make out the letters or do I clearly remember) but I knew it belonged to 'her'. The night/morning came to a close and we all left the establishment but I found myself leaving alone. As I walked out, I overheard a portion of a conversation between this woman and this guy, "I was able to transform twice tonight." As I approached closer, I could tell that their path would cross mine but ahead of me and at that moment, despite her different appearance, I could tell it was 'her' that left with the two guys. I guess she completed what she needed to get done. I wanted to return the jacket that she’d left behind but I wanted it for myself, I guess something to remember about her. As I continued to walk, I tried to keep them in my sights and several minutes later, they were gone.I also realized that my friends were gone too and that they had gone to the beach without me (a beach in Vegas, yeah don't ask). I found myself back where I started, at the subway depot/station. I tried to retrace my steps to get myself back to where my friends are. I tried calling them, none of them answered. I tried to purchase a subway ticket like I did in the beginning but these patients were in front of me. This was taking too long and I remembered that there was another ticket dispenser on a different level, so I went to it but found that the equipment setup was now different. I looked around for some help but no one seemed to want to help me. I saw storage boxes (for keeping files) in this one room and made the comment how they should convert those into digital records. That's it.Diana Muldaur, Gene Roddenberry & Jonathan Frakes: Birthday!!! #startrek
